We offer packets from 50g to over 1kg sizes. All of them have the one-way valve. The 50g packet was considered because it is just the right size for the popular 10-cup percolator dripper machines. Simply tear open the bag, pour all the contents into your filter area, throw away the empty packet and turn on the machine. You should get ten cups of delicious Bundaberg Blend each time. No need to mess around with spoons and the potential spillage problem.
Bundaberg Blend may be kept at room temperature in our special resealable bags. Our customers tell us that they like to store their coffee in the freezer and use it as and when it is needed. If you wish to try the freezing method, simply reseal the bag and pop it into the freezer. When you wish to use the coffee, take the required amount of beans out and use straight from the freezer. Avoid thawing and refreezing coffee as this makes the coffee wet and therefore accelerates the staling process. If you transfer our coffee into other containers before freezing, ensure the container you use has not been tainted by other foods, as coffee will soak up these smells and tastes. Apparently, the refrigerator is not cold enough to store coffee, and the presence of strongly scented foods that you may have in your refrigerator will taint the coffee.
We are delighted with our coffee packaging and testing has proven to be faultless, even under quite strict conditions. We believe that the older vacuum-packed foil coffee bags have had their time. The modern way to go is one-valve technology wrapped in the latest food-grade poly-plastic with a quality strong zip-lock closure. We hope you appreciate the extra cost of this packaging and how it benefits your drinking experience. TIP-why not wash out the bag and re-use for other storage problems you may have around the house? |
