Bundaberg Blend coffee comes in two distinct strengths, Medium and Strong. We took many months and several public tasting sessions to evolve and fine-tune Bundaberg Blend to the position where we feel we have two excellent coffees, different in flavour and body, yet from the same 100% certified organic green beans.

We are firm believers that by starting from a quality bean, utilising the latest roasting technology and delivering in the highest quality packaging, we are offering a quality product to you, our coffee drinkers. Bundaberg Blend comes from that very process and we are delighted with the results.

With years of research, months of setting up and weeks of tasting we are convinced our coffee will please a wide audience.

An important factor in our coffee is the fact that nowhere in the bean production have any chemicals been used. No insecticides, pesticides or herbicides are present in the production process.

Additionally, no flavour enhancers, preservatives and colourings are used to mask any imperfections or change the original bean at all. What we start with is a fresh clean organic green bean to produce an organic roasted coffee.

As with all organic produce, the taste may be slightly different to what you are used to - it is the same with organic coffee. We suggest taking your time to savour the delicious flavour of Bundaberg Blend.

BUNDABERG BLEND

• Strong - Bundaberg Blend:
  With our Strong Bundaberg Blend coffee, we actually started backwards and worked forward, roasting to the very darkest, near burnt, roast bringing it back to a little over French Roast. We wanted the flavoursome oils, but not the sharp charcoal taste.
  
  Using all the parameters of the roaster with a controlled combination of ambient temperature and humidity we feel we hit the point for a good strong Bundaberg Blend giving a rich deep flavour with a full body.
• Medium - Bundaberg Blend:
  Medium coffee addicts will be rewarded with a bright, delicate coffee and a crisp aroma. This was our real test of production.
  
  We set forth and started with over eighty different permutations and decided to take the time blind cupping every blend in comparison with each other.
  
  We took the highs with the lows, got lost several times and eventually we narrowed it down to about ten combinations of various blends and roasting profiles. To get even closer to the perfect blend, we did some public market testing and some additional blind tasting with trades people until we finally got to where we wanted to be.
  
  The final product has an excellent flavour, a little sweet (a real favourite for those cappuccino lovers) and neutral to bright acidity for a taste to be remembered.
